Text Glitching

I have found that there are two addresses (3906 and 3907) that seem to affect what pressing A or B while text is appearing does. It usually speeds up the text, but with some hex editinga lot of glitchy things can happen.

If you see videos on YouTube where the text is glitching in the middle of a message (usually accompanied by glitch sounds and strange text), then it is most likely address 3906 that has been modified. This address usually has a value of AF, but nearly every other value causes some sort of glitch (be it a crash, an opcode error, or glitchy text). Address 3907 is hacked less often because most of the possible values either have no effect or crash the game. That being said, address 3907 also has some of the more interesting results.

Examples of 3907 hacks:

Start up screen... I THINK NOT!

The Weirdest Glitch in the Wild West (or anywhere else for that matter)

Instant Vending Machine

The Glitch Dimension!!!

The Door is Locked...

Flying to Glitch Cave... NOT!
